** Château DALEM 2006

Located on a due south exposed tray, Château DALEM was founded in 1610 ; it is thus one of the oldest estates in Fronsac. Crowned last year for its 2005, it came very close to the « coup de cœur » for its wonderful 2006. Its purple colour shines with one thousand reflections. The expressive bouquet involves little red fruits and a vanilla wood. Velvety and powerful tannins support for a long time the fruity return (blackberry and blueberry). A bottle to open within the next 3-6 years.

 Almost like Château DALEM, but simpler, it gets one star and will be drunk younger than Dalem.
