Château Dalem

Château Dalem
**** * Lovely intensity and purity of fruit. Polished tannins. Freshness and lenght. Gains in elegance and
finesse. 2010-18.
DECANTER (april 2007)
note: 16,5
Dark, healthy crimson, Bright, sweet yet earthy – very honest nose. Round and energetic.
Impressive. This should make very appetising old bones. Tucked in but not painfully tannic to taste
even at this early stage.
(blind) Very successful wine. Crimson and very different from most Fronsacs – because of older wines
perhaps ? More complex aromas. Supple and confident with very fine tannins. Really in the refreshing
spirit of the vintage. Drink 2012-18

note: 16,5/20
2009 to 2016 This 18th century estate and its park domine la "Vallée de l'Isle". Viticultural activity is there very ancient, it gained a solid fame in the 80's, as Michel Rullier drew a very
powerful Fronsac, with tight and dense tannins, and a full-bodied caracter.
Since the beginning of the millenium, this energetic but sometimes rude style has softened delightedly, and wines gained refinement while keeping their rigour.
Outstanding success: subtle bouquet, rich attack, bouquet subtil, attaque ample, very gentle tannin, with a good length, nervy. Excellent.
note: 15,5
Violet, oaky, strawberry, soft mouth, supple, fresh.
Good substance, fine tannins, delicate, beautiful fruit.
Fine wine, elegant.
LE POINT Bordeaux vintage 2006.

Beautiful dark red. Intense. Fruity nose, medium intensity. Quite aromatic. Flower, red fruits shades. Lovely mouth, sweet, fruity, caressful. Aromatic, aiming at medium consistance. Good finale,
little tannic. A wine of pleasure dominated by merlot.
