achieve success in 2004:
(in the family since 1949) Brigitte Rullier-loussert
is now investing her time in the wine production of these 2 properties.
‘’ Whilst preserving their qualities, I wanted to incorporate something personal into these
wines that I love’’ she said. By paying a great deal of attention to the wineyards and putting the
necessary pressure on oenologist Christian Veyry, specialist in the Libourne region, she finally
achieved in 2004 the result she hoped for, with a Château DALEM (13 ha, 90% merlot) ample;
fresh, long and well balanced, and a Château de la HUSTE (3 ha at 150m from Dalem, same grape
varieties) charming, with superbe tanin.

note: 85-88
Deep ruby-colored, with good-elegance, mineralty, and sweet cranberry and cherry fruit, this is an
obvious, but attractively styled, medium-bodied Fronsac to consume over the next 4-5 years. It is
usually a good value as well.
Wine Spectator - James Suckling April 2004
note: 86-87Attractive aromas of black liquorice and berries follow through to a medium-bodied palate with
good tannins and a medium finish.

*** Coup de Coeur
This beautiful estate is rigorously managed by the family Rullier since about fifty years with lot of
passion. Once more comes the result right on time. This Coup de Coeur voted unanimously by our
Grand Jury will testify it. The colour of this 2002 vintage glisten with a wonderful sparkle. His scent of fruit and spices
aromas are still dominated by promising and elegant hints of woody-toasted notes.
Of same grade of quality, greatness, powerful and ripeness the tannins evolve with lots of finesse
and persistency. This wine will open up in three to eight years.
Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2006
Compared to the usual style of DALEM, the wines seems to have gained a great deal in elegance
and definition, and this vintage without rusticity, will mark a turning in the history of the region.
Full and elegant, fine and savoury, this 2002 delights in its length and mineralty..
Wine Tastet Bettane & Desseauve
Big color, quite extracted style but matiere, crisp acidity, good length. Will need a little bottle age.
